The Available Light is operated by Halo Mountain Enterprises LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By purchasing, accessing, or using our website, digital products, educational materials, operational briefs, or related services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Purchases and Customer Accounts
Prices are displayed before checkout. Payment is processed securely through Stripe.
A customer account may be created as part of the purchase process. You are responsible for providing accurate information, maintaining the security of your account, and notifying us if you believe it has been used without authorization.
We reserve the right to cancel and refund an order affected by fraud, an obvious pricing error, or unauthorized payment activity.
Digital Delivery
Digital products are delivered through the purchaser’s customer account after payment is completed. No physical materials are shipped.
Purchasers are responsible for downloading and safely retaining their files. Evergreen access means that the purchase has no recurring fee or scheduled expiration. We may update the website or change the method used to deliver files, but will make reasonable efforts to preserve access for legitimate purchasers.
Household License
Purchase of The Available Light: Student Edition licenses the materials for use by one household, including siblings within that household.
Parents may duplicate student trackers, records, templates, and certificates for participating siblings within the licensed household.
The purchase does not transfer ownership of the materials. The files may not be:
Shared with another household
Uploaded to a shared drive, group, school, cooperative, or membership site
Posted publicly or distributed online
Resold, sublicensed, republished, or redistributed
Modified or repackaged for sale or distribution
A school, homeschool cooperative, tutor, instructor, organization, or other multi-household group must obtain written permission or a separate license before using the materials with multiple households.
Refunds and Replacements
Because digital products become available immediately after purchase, all sales are final once access has been granted, except as required by applicable law or as provided below.
Technical Problems
If a purchased file is corrupted, incomplete, or unavailable because of a delivery error, contact us within 14 days of purchase. We will restore access or provide a replacement file at no charge.
Duplicate Purchases
If you accidentally purchase the same product more than once, contact us within 14 days. Once verified, the duplicate charge will be refunded to the original payment method.
Approved refunds are normally submitted within five to seven business days. Additional processing time may be required by Stripe, the customer’s bank, or the card issuer.
Educational Use and Responsibility
Our educational materials provide structured instruction, activities, assessment resources, and documentation tools. We do not guarantee academic credit, admission, exhibition acceptance, employment, commercial work, income, or any other particular result.
Parents or guardians remain responsible for:
Student supervision and safety
Determining whether activities and locations are appropriate
Obtaining necessary permissions
Monitoring student progress and recorded hours
Complying with applicable homeschool requirements
Evaluating the completed work and assigning academic credit
Intellectual Property
All text, photographs, exercises, designs, templates, downloads, and other original materials remain the intellectual property of Halo Mountain Enterprises LLC or their respective rights holders.
Except for the limited household use described above, no content may be copied, reproduced, adapted, published, distributed, or commercially exploited without prior written permission.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Digital products and website content are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
We do not warrant that the website or downloadable materials will always be uninterrupted or error-free. If a technical defect prevents access to a purchased product, our responsibility is to restore access or provide a replacement file.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Halo Mountain Enterprises LLC, its owners, and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from the purchase or use of our website, products, educational materials, or recommendations.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability relating to a product or transaction will not exceed the amount paid for that product or transaction.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any consumer right or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes in our products, services, business practices, or legal obligations. The revised terms will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
Terms in effect at the time of purchase will govern that purchase unless a change is required by law.
